Cross Country

WALT: Write about our cross country

On Monday the 16th we had our anneal cross country, at 12:15 we got changed into our cross country outfits, the house colours were, yellow, red, blue, and green. The house colour that I was in was yellow, when we went to line up to get ready for cross country I was talking to my friends, then when the year one’s went first, it got closer and closer to the year sevens and eights we got even more nervous by the second, the place we were sitting on the courts, because we weren’t ready for when we really started, I wished my friends good luck before we started. As we started I got even more nervous, before we even got to the part were they said go, Mr Somerville told us to stand up straight when he said on your mast , get set is when you bend down a little and then we went when he said go, most people sprinted but then again some people jogged, the year sevens and eights had to go around the pt England reserve and our own school field twice, but when I got to the goal post I saw that I was coming third, when I got to the green gate I stopped running for a little bit. Then at the end we all got water and rested.

TASK DESCRIPTION: In room 5 literacy class we are learning to write about our anneal cross country that we had on Monday the 16th of September.

Spaghetti and marshmallow Tower

In maths we had Mrs Collins, but we did cyber smart, I know that it's weird to have cyber smart in maths but, we did so in cyber smart we had a challenge of who can build the highest tower, but made out of pasta and marshmallows. In our team we had me, Christina, Paige, and Rosaleen. We did is being supportive, Being helpful being trustful, Patient and being loved. We had 15 sticks and 1 big marshmallow, we took bits off the big marshmallow and we put the pasta on the little bits and tried to make it a tower but sadly it failed. so we had to try and make it stand for 3 seconds so Mrs Collins can measure it. The team that came first was Mata's team second was William's team, third was ours and Selone's ground and last was Laura's and Pifeleti's group. Then we cleaned up and washed our hands.
